Updates of the week
7/7/09, Happy Birthday to keying!
Qinzhi bought a cake for keying, the class wanted to celebrate for her but guess what, she did not turn up for class so in the end the few of us (qinzhi, chengxun, lister, liping, huiru) got to share the cake. Lister love the cake and he had 2 slices. Oh ya, the cake was from breadtalk. It is dark chocolate so i find it quite average.
After lesson, i had to stay back for fyp and install adobe web premium. After i had this experience, i hate IT helpdesk. This is what happened;
on the 1st of july, i went it helpdesk to ask them to help me install and they said i must have the permission grant from my advisor. So i went to email my advisor and my permission was granted. I waited a few days for the program to load into run advertise. On tuesday 7/7/09, after lesson, i went to do fyp and also to install my program. I waited abt 4 hrs but still not successfully install. So i decided to go sch on wed to ask it helpdesk staff to help me install cos it is faster with the LAN cable. So wed, i went to ask it helpdesk staff to help and 1 of the staff told me to install myself so i told him that cannot be done and i only need to 2 programs out of the whole package. He said "u should come early if i really want to install, now the cable is full so the only way is to run the program myself. " Then i really give up, i had no other choice but to run myself. Sianx! In the end, the program was successfully installed. From the whole incident, i really hate it helpdesk service.
11/7/09. Meet up with W66L classmates for a short gathering. We have so much fun. Lister was the joker of the day. We supposed to go somewhere to chill but raining cant go. Hate the rain. Spoilt our plan. I will upload the pics soon.
